“Helping patients achieve their orthopedic goals and desired lifestyle is the most satisfying part of my job. Hearing stories about grandparents walking pain-free with their grandkids, young adults getting back their active lifestyle, and athletes returning to high-level competition motivates me to be the best at what I do.” – Dr. Christoper Odom.
Christoper Odom, MD, is an Orthopedic Surgery Specialist in Plano, Texas. As a native Texan, he is thrilled to be back serving his home-state community. Originally from Arlington, TX, he earned his Bachelor’s degree from Baylor University in 2011 and his Medical degree in 2015 from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, Paul L Foster School of Medicine.
He continued his training as a resident at the University of Alabama, Birmingham, from 2015-2020 and at Penn Medicine as a Fellow in Orthopedics Adult Reconstruction from 2020-2021. During that time, his focus was on anterior total hip replacement, minimally invasive primary total hip and knee replacement, robotic-assisted total hip and knee replacement, revision arthroplasty, and partial knee replacement.
During his fellowship training, Dr. Odom had the opportunity to train with leaders in robotic surgery. He is excited to return to Texas and offer this service to the North Texas community.
